Immigration. An old theme, but very current. Today, as never before, the story requires us to think in other terms. Men and women and children, who daily cut throught the sea, across lands and borders and frontiers. In search of new countries to live in.

"Acrobats of Today" defines them Erri De Luca, strong images, fragments of stories and lives, collected by the photographer Massimo Sestini (World Press Photo 2015) during one of the last missions of Mare Nostrum in the Sicilian Channel.
