BOZA

Walid Fellah | Tunisia | 2014 | 52'

Many sub-Saharan migrants are fighting against the system of borders for their right to a better life. A barbed-wire fence makes a city Ceuta impenetrable, separating it from Europe. Some try to cross the border facing kilometers of sand, caves, stones, crossings river and mountains, others remain stuk in Choucha refugee camp in southern Tunisia. These people have only one big dream: to be on the other side of the border. At the same time, in a Europe still too far away, many human rights activists lead a peaceful march calling for the abolition of borders and free of movement: a universal human right.

Walid Fellah was born on February 10 February 1984 in Zarzis, in south-eastern Tunisia. He studied architecture. Member of the General Union of Tunisian Students (UGET) and the Tunisian Federation of amateur filmmakers (FTCA). He is human rights activist, musician and filmmaker. Interested on migration, in June of 2014 actively participates in the Freedom March from Strasbourg to Brussels together with 400 activists, who manifest their disagreement with European policies on migration. The protest is shown in the film Boza.
