SPONDE. NEL SICURO MARE DEL NORD
IRENE DIONISIO
ITALY-FRANCE | 2015 | 60’
One day Mohsen Lidhabi, Tunisian postman and sculptor, bumped into a death body on the beach of Zarzis. Without asking himself too many questions, he decided to inhume him. This act provoked a huge debated and controversy among his community and among the supporters of Ben Ali. On another side of the Mediterranean, in Lampedusa, the same events happened to Vincenzo: he took the same decision as Mohsen Lidhabi and the community was really polemic about that. The two men and their story describe the struggle for dignity and human rights.
