In 2012 dozens of Sufi saints shrines were burned by fundamentalists in Tunisia. One of these fires ravaged the shrine of Saida Manoubia, a female Sufi saint of the 12th century. This documentary tries to reborn "Saida" from its ashes by telling lives stories of women who believe in her. Also It shows the important anchoring of Saïda in the social life of these women.
Soumaya Bouallegui, born on July, 16th, 1979 in Tunis. She is an actress and theater and documentary director. She studied business before attending an actor training at EL TEATRO STUDIO. She participated in several workshops in “The Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers” and “The Tunisian Association for the Promotion of Film Critics”. She acted in several plays and made trainings in various films.
