The return of a migrant to his home Country. He travelled to another land, another sea, sure he would find a better city, without the awareness that his city would be his travelling companion. Altough he was looking for something different in this new city, he ended up in suburbs identical to the ones where he was born and grown up.

Gonzalo Ballester, born in 1982, is the author of several short films and documentaries, such as Mimoune, winner of 15 awards in different international festivals. In 2006 he participated in the Prix de la Jeunesse at the Cannes Festival. “The Molky Way”, realized in Iran won 10 awards, while his las short film “La Ciudad” (Al-Madina) has been presented to Manifesta8, the European Biennial of Contemporary Art and has been selected at the Malaga Film Festival.
