Based on a traditional storytelling techinique popular in Japan in the beginning of the 20th century, Kamishibai is led by a fictional character who rides his bike through Japanese colonies in Brazil to discover the immigration in the country.

Tatiana attended Journalism university in Sao Paulo, where she graduated with a documentary short film. Shortly after, her first professional project was the script and direction of the short film Três Tabelas, selected by many film festivals. After living for five years in Paris, France, Tatiana went back to Brazil and has been working as Art Director in many productions. Kamishibai is her second short film.
