Lampedusa: the island, the symbol, the mirage, the nightmare, the mirror of dreams, of frustration, of hope and of the stereotypes of two countries, Tunisia and Italy. A survey conducted in several communities by using the theatre to create:

a documentary showing the path, the images of rehearsal and performances in the two countries, the words of artists, educators and young people aged 11 to 30 who have lived the experience of crossing, or who are dreaming of doing it;

a photo exhibition retracing the work of cooperation and exchange;

a performance with young people and professional actors, involving the audience directly;

a journal published in “Il Girovago” to describe the ‘encounter’;

a music installation and a voice reading the data on migration flows between Italy and Tunisia.
