A man on the margins of society lives in an old boat anchored somewhere in the bay of Santiago de Cuba. One day he receives a mysterious letter, which creates a new bond with the outside world.

The Escuela Internacional de Cine y Tv in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba) is since 27 years a breeding ground for young talents. Here students from all over the world are formed in audio-video disciplines thanks to teachers and international professionals. A place of learning, discussion and exchange on cinema, founded in 1986 by the writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the poet and filmmaker Fernando Birri and the Cuban Julio Garcia Espinosa. Since its founding, the school has welcomed young people from more than fifty countries around the world and teachers such as Paul Serrand, Josè Luis Borao, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragòn, Francis Ford Coppola, the Coen brothers and Peter Greenaway.
