José Manuel, farmer, is watching a program on TV when a blackout interrupts the broadcasting. He puts on his mule the frame of a TV, and with the participation of the neighbours, continues in its own way the television program he was watching.

The Escuela Internacional de Cine y Tv in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba) is since 27 years a breeding ground for young talents. Here students from all over the world are formed in audio-video disciplines thanks to teachers and international professionals. A place of learning, discussion and exchange on cinema, founded in 1986 by the writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the poet and filmmaker Fernando Birri and the Cuban Julio Garcia Espinosa. Since its founding, the school has welcomed young people from more than fifty countries around the world and teachers such as Paul Serrand, Josè Luis Borao, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragòn, Francis Ford Coppola, the Coen brothers and Peter Greenaway.
