ENTRY REGULATION

The Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) GVC and Cospe

Promote the first edition of

Everybody’s World Film Festival
Southern world countries documentaries and social cinema exhibition

Participation Requirements
The exhibition is an international event without any restriction on nationality, age and profession. The participation is free of charge.

Competition Object
The competition is open to videos of a maximum duration of 60 minutes. The works have to belong to one of the following categories:
-           Documentaries;
-           Animation and youth
-           Social fiction

Works realized with any kind of technique and format (following the present regulation) are admitted.
The enters videos must deal with social issues and in particular at least one of the following topics:
Gender and development
Poverty and sustainable development
Active citizenship: civil society as development actor
Human rights and democracy
Work, globalization and labour rights
Environment  and sustainable development
Cultures and native peoples
Youth and children
War  terrorism and violence
Media and information

Participation rules
- Every single filmmaker can participate with max three works.
- Only works produced after January 2003 are admitted;
- The submission has to be done by filling up the on line entry form that can be found in the Festival official website www.terradituttifilmfestival.org. The subscription will be confirmed to the candidate also by e-mail.
- It is necessary to fill up a subscription form for each work
- The call for entry is open from 1 of June to 31 July 2007.
For each work, all of the contents must be copyright free and respect copyright laws.
The organization of this event considers that the audiovisual works presented in this festival meet the legal prerequisites mentioned above and shall not be held responsible for falsifications, plagiarisms, prohibited and unauthorised use of material by the person who inscribes it.

Delivery and selection process
One copy of each submitted work has to be sent in DVD format in a sealed envelope before July 31, to one of the following address:

The outer envelope must bear the words “TERRA DI TUTTI FILM FESTIVAL”.

Among the received works, about 15 will be pre-selected and will participate to the official competition.
The material received won’t be remitted and will be part of the public archive of the Terra di Tutti Film Festival.
The works submitted to the competition keep to be owned by the author whom allow the free unlimited use by the Terra di Tutti Film Festival (Everybody World Film Festival), for the following uses:
- at least partial publication on the festival web site;
- presentation and projection at the Terra di Tutti Film Festival, Bologna - 2007 and in other similar situation such as public presentation, ad hoc projection, and partners events
Each author respond on the content of his video and clearly authorize the Terra di Tutti Film Festival  to make any copy and projection of the submitted film for cultural goals and for the press.

Prime and price giving
It will be given as film production support and technical equipment purchase a voucher of 1,500 Euro to be divided among the three best work chosen by the Festival honour jury..
The price giving will take place during the festival last night.

Competition internet web site
The official festival web site is www.terradituttifilmfestival.org  in which it is possible to find any useful information. Any further clarification can be demanded at the following e-mail address info@terradituttifilmfestival.org

The organization can publish in the official web site all the works entered and admitted to the festival, for which it will be provided to the organizers a trailer on DVD of a maximum duration of 3 minutes. The publication will anyway be after the submission deadline.

Responsibility
The competition participation implies the total commitment to the present regulation. The Festival Direction will decide on any unclear case and on what no expressly said in the present regulation. The decision cannot be appealed against.

The contents of the entered films (picture, sounds, animation) must respect the copyright law: the competition participation implies the total responsibility of the author for any irregularity on that field. The festival organization considers that the audiovisual works presented in this festival meet the legal prerequisites mentioned above and shall not be held responsible for falsifications, plagiarisms, prohibited and unauthorised use of material by the person who inscribes it.
