#MedFilm4all in Tunisia
Aisha is a young woman of 27 years that the Jordanian director Asma Bseiso has followed on video for 4 years: an orphan, abandoned by her parents a few months old, mistreated and victim of verbal, physical and psychological abuse. He leaves the orphanage at 18 and manages to graduate in psychology, using the wounds of his childhood to become the vital person we see in this documentary (here the trailer) that will be screened tonight, June 20, at the Académie des Arts à Sousse, in Tunisia, as part of the activities of MedFilm4All and of our festival.
The project led by GVC Tunisia in partnership with COSPE, APIMED - the International Association of Independent Producers of the Mediterranean, the Arab NGO Network for development, and MENA Media Monitoring promotes cinema in the Mediterranean, as a tool for human development and gender equality, through the broadcasting of audiovisual products related to important social issues in Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Libya. In order to contribute to creating a critical mass linked to audiovisual productions and making them accessible to an ever-increasing public, focusing in particular on rural areas.
The protagonists and beneficiaries of the MedFIlm4All project will be in Bologna during the days of the festival, for a series of meetings and exchanges with local cinematic realities. The program of the visit as well as all the other events of the Festival will be released in the coming months, continue to follow us on the site and on our social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We remind you that the deadline of our call for entries of the Terra di Tutti Film Festival expires the 30th of June. Don’t wait!
