"Riz du Bénin, riz de demain" presents the rice sector in Benin and the perspectives of its development. The film concerns the development of local production for local consumption, highlighting the issues related to the rice sector development and outlining the organisation of an agricultural policy aimed at food sovereignty.

Event realised in collaboration with Alimenterre Festival 

Alimenterre Festival was born in a cinema in Paris, at the end of 2007 and grew remarkably thanks to a strong networking activity. In 2013 several events and 935 screenings were organised, both in France and abroad. The Film Festival commits to raising awareness within public at large about issues related to healthy and sufficient food for everyone, fostering the participation of all stakeholders in the food security and farmers’ work debates, while promoting actions aiming at achieving a fairer and environmentally sustainable agriculture.
