Gato encerrado

Peque Varela | 2010 | Spain | 12’

How many lives does a cat have? It all depends on where it lives. This animated film narrates the trip of a quantum cat, that does not know if it is alive or dead. Gato Encerrado has been awarded, between others, from the Argentine Expotoons International Animation Festival 2010 and from the Spanish  Curtocircuito Festival Internacional de Curtametraxes.

Peque Varela, graduated in direction of animated films at the National Film and Television School of London, lives and works in the British capital as a freelance animator and director. Her works have been included in festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival.
