Who is Manuel Morales? On who has turned this Bolivian miner that eventually donate his soul to the devil in exchange for wealth? Eager to encounter a man who has met the devil, the narrator of this documentary takes a journey to Potosi in the Andes to find traces of this man and feel the mystery of his pledge. A risky search that could take him to get lost in the depths of bizarre universe of his interlocutors. His encounters take him to the heart of a sacred mountain illuminate by flickering torches. The border between reality and fantasy becomes month by month more and more laughable.
