The lucha libre is a sport-show born in Mexico in the years '30, on the wake of the North American wrestling. His character is strongly popular and has been spread in the whole Latin America. "El Ring y sus Titanes" talks about the meetings that take place at 4000 meteres on the level of the sea, between la Paz and El Alto, in Bolivia, on the Andean plateau. Cholitas, men, dwarf, and monsters become protagonists of the ring and they reflect, in a surreal show of few minutes, a reality poliedrica as that Bolivian one. The lucha of the league of the Titaneses with its masks, its movements and its excesses contains not only the secrets of this sport gives also a representation of its public, showing the idiosyncrasies, contaminations, of the mournings and of the myths of the Andean popular culture.
In the histories of the luchadoreses it doesn't care to define the border between the reality and the show: the important one is only to keep on fighting.
