During a trip, the director Jordi Ferrer discovers how tough and heavy are the violences inflicted on women in Guatemala. The discovery led him to deepen into the history of the Spanish conquest, colonization, exploitation and femicide whose numbers are increasingly alarming, in a society still dominated by a patriarchal, racist and misogynist oligarchy.
