Giovanni Lo Porto Award, dedicated to the memory of the GVC collaborator killed in 2015 during a US anti-terrorism operation. The prize, worth 1,000 (one thousand) Euros, aims to enhance those documentaries that tell of heroic efforts and the resistance of men and women who do not retreat from violence and oppression, but promote values such as solidarity and respect of human rights, peace and freedom.
