Seven stories, seven cities, seven innovative experiences of urban green, seven groups of people hold together by the wish of turning their cities into a better place to live. Since 2007 most of the world population lives in urban areas. Everywhere, however, individuals and small communities re-appropriated of abandoned spaces in the suburbs of their cities and turned them into gardens . God save the green narrates the stories of these men and women, who are re-acquiring a sense of community through the invention of new models of urban green.
