Salani (goodbye in the changa dialect) is the greeting that the three young characters of this film give to their families, to their land, to Mozambique. With a mix of documentaries and animations, the movie shows a complete picture of the condition of a lot of Mozambicans teenagers that under the illusion of finding good living conditions or obliged by their families, leave their country to reach the South of Africa where they often will have to face sexual exploitation and forced work. It is a chorused condemnation against a widespread phenomenon that too often is unsaid.
