On the Mediterranean coast some tourists try to relax while 'illegal' migrants struggle to seize the opportunity of a better life. Escaped from a delimited tourist area, two Swiss children experience how reality has little to do with a life in a camping.

Michaela Muller, who has specialized in animation and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, explores the connections between painting and film, making animated short films, installations and performances. In 2012 she launches the multimedia performance "Trag/Trace/Spur" at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, together with the artists Zrinka Šimičić Mihanović and Fa Ventilato.

Cine Migratorio is a film festival on migration that takes place in Santander. The festival aims at promoting a debate on the experience of migration through animated films, short films, documentaries, experimental films and workshops and music conferences. Cine Migratorio is financed through crowdfunding.
