The cities loose more and more the connection with the land on which they were built. The city life is conditioned by a suffocating milieu that brings to the satisfaction of artificial needs alienating the human beings from nature. The relationship with the primary human need, the food, is completely distorted.

Through the choices and the stories of four characters, this film allows us to discover that an alternative model is possible. Three of them live under the slopes of Etna, immersed in nature and united by a choice that they made: the abandonment of cities and previous professions to devote themselves to natural agriculture. The other story is that of a woman who lives in the city but is conceptually related to the three. Four different stories that run parallel, whose path weaves a network to spread the fruits of their conception of life. A new magma is ready to bury all artifices. The Revolution of the straw thread has already begun.

Giorgia Chiara Luna Sciabbica begins to take her first steps as autodidact at the university by founding an association and dealing mainly with social issues. In 2009, is admitted at the Centro Sperimentale in Sicily, which allows her increase her skills. She graduated with the essay "The Revolution of the straw thread, the fruits in times of crisis". Now she lives in Madrid.
