"La prigione degli altri" proposes some considerations about the role of Italian prisons in managing the phenomenon of immigration. The documentary presents tragic testimonies of people previously imprisoned: their words do not express only the trauma suffered, but especially the desire of citizenship and social inclusion. A document underlying the role of Italian prison system as a focal point of immigration policies, showing its failure and lack of imagination.

Alessandro and Mattia Levratti work in Milan on advertising video. In 2010 they sign their first documentary "Memory, fughe dalla democrazia", selected at Doc in tour, at the Foggia Film Festival, at Un Film per la Pace, at ViaEmili@docfest and at Valsusa Film Festival. In 2012 they present "Dove ti portano gli occhi- a colloquio con EdithBruck", produced by Villa Emma Foundation and realized together with Fausto Ciuffi and Ivan Andreoli.
