Death penalty still persists in some countries. Ashmawi, the Egyptian executioner, is convinced of being “God’s hand on earth”. Ashmawi is a professional of the legalised murder.
The convicted, on the other hand, testifies his suffering and the infernal wait for death.
Layth Abdulamir, French Iraqi director, moves to Paris in 1977. Graduated at the Sorbonne in Paris, he works for the Dubai TV from 1999 to 2004. He directs several documentaries and movies, among which: "Chrétiens d’Irak" (2011), "Irak: le chant des absents" (2005), "Do not cry Africa" (2003), "Africa – Africa" (2003).
