BAJO LA ALMOHADA

Isabel Herguera | Spain | 2012 | 9'

"Bajo la almohada" is an animated documentary realized with the drawings and voices of a group of children living in the clinic of Tivim in India.

The guitar, the dances, an outing to the seaside, the cats (Sweety and Kitty) and the nuns caring for them are some of the treasures and dreams that these children keep under their pillows.

The film tells in an original way the hopes and dreams of some children afflicted by HIV who are in the care of the Asro-Caritas clinic of Goa (India).

"Bajo la almohada" won the Unicef award at Bilbao Documentary Film Festival in 2012.
