Workshop: Good local practices in the forest management
The importance of local communities in forest management
Analysing the impacts that forest management have on territories, the most obvious and studied consequences are the economic or environmental ones, underestimating the influence that forest management has on population or on social and cultural relations in that territory.
This workshop aims to analise and disseminate examples of sustainable management of forests where the social component is highly involved and affected, emphasizing the positive consequences. Examples of good practices from Italy, Poland, Romania, Malta, Spain.
